Is it too much to ask to have one day? One fucking day?!
So, yeah, things weren’t as normal yesterday as I’d thought. To me, anyway. No one else saw a thing. Of course.
Our new friends were not what they seemed. And by that, I mean human. Definitely not human, which might reassure Mish’s concerns about Steph’s dick. Apples + oranges. Or people + monsters. Ha. I think someone even commented on his monster dick. We just didn’t know it was true, and Pinky being flighty? Maybe because he has freaking wings! I don’t know what he is. Fairy? Pixie? Still small, whatever. Definitely hairless, his clothes didn’t hide much yesterday, but I got a much closer look last night. Maybe if they’d stayed in the tent I would still be happily ignorant. Bit, no, they have to fuck in the moonlight, which showed me everything, Every. Thing. Steph? No fucking clue what he is. Bigger, if that’s possible. Not a giant, I don’t think, but not pretty. Not that Pinky cared. He seemed just as happy with Steph in that form as he had yesterday. Must be some kind of magic involved. No way Steph could fit otherwise.
I went out to pee. I really need to plan this better so I’m not always interrupting things. They were out by the fire. Pinky lodged on Steph’s dick, wings fluttering to keep him steady as Steph pounded into him. They both saw me this time. Steph grinned, gave me an up nod. Pinky wiggled his fingers in a little wave before pulling Steph down for a kiss.
It’s like they… did they not care? Or… it was like they were acknowledging me. Like — not like I was part of their fucking, but like they recognized something in me. They knew I saw them and they just continued on.
I lay in bed a long time after I got back. I’m confused.
Later… not any less confused than what I wrote before getting up this morning, but it almost felt good to have someone else acknowledge the weird.
I guess the nap yesterday made me not sleepy last night. Even staying up late, I was up early this morning. Something woke me up. Sun wasn’t even up yet, but it was light out. I’ve always liked that time of day. No one else was awake. I got the fire going and heated water for coffee while I was writing.
Maybe he smelled the coffee, but Pinky came out of his tent, I swear, he was wearing silly pajamas. Definitely not the usual hiking gear, he came over to the fire in flip flops and yawned at me, then held out a mug. No tin cup for this guy.
I poured him some and for myself. He thanked me and wandered away from the fire to look down the valley. I turned and then followed him when I saw the sun was starting to turn the clouds in the valley colors. Pinks, yellows. It glowed. It was gorgeous.
As the sun rose and the clouds burned off, I noticed something flying through the air. Lots of somethings. From the distance, I couldn’t tell what it was. I thought maybe butterflies or dragonflies. But I realized they were too big for that, but they didn’t look like birds. Whatever they were, they swarmed the skies doing fantastic loops and dives. After a bit, I realized they were pairing off. Still doing acrobatic moves.
“Isn’t it amazing?” Pinky sighed. “I’d be out there, but I’m with Steph now.”
His words made me look closer. As the sun came up fully, the pairs were dropping from the sky but enough were still visible for me to realize the distance had fooled me. They weren’t birds or insects. They were humanish. With wings. Like Pinky as I’d seen him last night.
“What…” was all I could get out as I watched the last of the… whatever they were tumble from the sky in pairs.
Pinky shrugged, sipping from his mug. “Family reunion of sorts. We try to make it whenever we can.”
All I could say was, “Oh.” Then we heard someone shuffling out of a tent behind us. Pinky skipped back to Steph and offered up his mug. I just stood there for a bit.
